Jogging around Santa Gertrudis in Ibiza
About 5 kilometres, moderately difficult, roads and dirt roads, unlit
Start at the parking lot in front of the church and head down the road (804-1) with its various cafés heading towards Sant Antoni out of the village. You'll continue about 2 kilometres along the main road before it makes a curve to the left but you continue straight ahead on the gravel path.
After a good 100 metres - after the grape plantation and before the forest - make a right down the dirt road. Between the fields and forest your path leads you along a chain link fence to a T-junction where you will be running directly towards a house. Make a left at the intersection, where fields and farmhouses provide a lovely view.
At the next T-junction - with the old carwash on the right - make a right onto the paved road. Continue running straight ahead, then you'll hit another short bit of gravel road (don't make a left following the main road) into the village once more where you'll then find a little final ascent to the church and you've made it! If you still haven't had enough, jog yourself back down by taking a tour around Santa Gertrudis.
